How much water is in your pond?
A rectangular-pond estimate: length × width × average depth × 1,000. Irregular ponds need a more careful calculation. Volume alone does not decide filter size.
Why does fish stocking change filter size?
Fish add waste, so a filter’s fish-stock capacity can be much lower than its no-fish headline rating. Use the correct rating and allow for stocking and site conditions.
Does an 8,000L/h pump deliver that flow everywhere?
No. That headline is a maximum. Hose length, bore, bends, filters and lift reduce the flow at your actual installation. Match the setup using the manufacturer’s flow information.
Can I choose a replacement bulb by wattage?
Check the equipment model and generation, lamp shape, base, pins, length and markings. Two 24W bulbs are not automatically interchangeable.
